Sameen Saeed

Director of External Relations

In her capacity as Director of External Relations, Sameen Saeed is responsible for managing and implementing Common Impact's fundraising efforts and building relationships with corporate partners. Sameen works closely with foundations, individuals and corporate donors to raise funds for Common Impact's continued growth by cultivating and maintaining synergetic relationships. She also organizes periodic fundraising events for Common Impact.

Sameen joined Common Impact with private sector experience in retail management and research. As a District Manager for a St. Louis-based firm, she conducted retail market research, negotiated supply agreements, and developed new inventory control systems. Prior to moving to the Boston area, she spent some time in Washington D.C. where she was involved in fundraising initiatives for HIV/AIDS prevention programs and South Asia earthquake victims.

Sameen has a B.S. in marketing from University of Missouri, St. Louis (magna cum laude) and an M.A. in International Affairs with a focus on International Business and Development from Washington University in St. Louis.
